Dry Branch Fire Squad

Dry Branch Fire Squad has been a staple in the traditional bluegrass world for over 40 years now, with singer/songwriter/instrumentalist/comedian Ron Thomason leading the way. The current lineup includes Brian Aldridge on vocals, guitar, and mandolin; Evan Lanier on guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle; and Jeff Byrd on bass and vocals. Their thoughtful harmony lines give expression to the soulfulness and meaning of bluegrass and old-time music. Thomason was profiled in the 2019 documentary Bluegrass Court Jester.
