Joel ben Izzy – Storyteller

It was back in 1983 that Joel ben Izzy set off to travel the globe, gathering and telling stories.  Since then he’s spun tales in  in over 36 countries in the Americas, Europe, the Middle-East, Asia and Africa, delighting children and adults with timeless tales filled with wisdom and warmth, heart and humor. His award-winning memoir, The Beggar King and the Secret of Happiness (Algonquin, 2003) has been an international sensation, now in over 20 foreign editions.
