Stella Heath Quartet

Since emerging on the Bay Area jazz scene in 2014, Stella Heath become one of the busiest and most consistently captivating vocalists in the region. Following her 2025 show “Stella Swings Ella,” incorporating historical information and stories about Ella Fitzgerald’s life interspersed with the music, she released her debut album, For Billie. The album arises from one of Heath’s signature endeavors, “The Billie Holiday Project,” illuminating the treacherous emotional terrain that Holiday navigated as a soul-bearing singer.
