France’s favorite country songbird, singer-songwriter Theo Lawrence writes timeless love songs and delivers them with a golden-era croon reminiscent of Charlie Rich and Ray Price. When he was growing up in Paris, his peers were into pop and hip-hop, but for him, it was all about old-school country—Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and more. Now based in Austin, he’s released two albums (Sauce Piquante and Chérie), and recently collaborated with Melissa Carper on Havin’ a Talk.
